We are back to the BARRE!!
After a considerable break due to mainly lack of suitable
premises, Barre Class is coming back this October!
Why Barre? Well, first of all because it’s awesome and original! Second of all, because it is the best low impact full body workout that can bring you fast results and strengthen and tone your body.
Combined with precision and core strength of Pilates and mindfulness and flexibility of Yoga it is a fantastic asset to your lifestyle! Pilates exercises will constitute the vast majority of the floor work part of the session. They help to strengthen the arms and core, open the chest and work on the flexibility and mobility of the spine and legs.
The class is done to upbeat music and includes a warm up, barre section, standing light weights conditioning part, floor section consisting of mostly Pilates based exercises and a stretch part at the end.
The equipment used in a class is mostly soft Pilates balls, resistance bands, weighted Pilates balls and of course, a ballet bar. I have 2 wall mounted barres and a free standing portable one.You can view a short video of the Conditioning Part Here_

INTRODUCTION TO BARRE WORKSHOP will be held in February (date tbc). If you are interested in Barre classes and haven’t done them before (or even if you have) it’ll be a good place to start your Barre journey! We will cover the structure of the class, Barre section, floor and conditioning sections of the session.
Your investment is £10 for a 2 Hour Session and the places are limited.
Your investment is £40 for a 6 Week Block of classes or £7 PAYG.

Block 1:January 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th; February 5th & 12th
Block 2: February 19th, 26th; March 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th
Block 1:January 12th, 19th, 26th; February 9th & 16th
Block 2: February 23rd; March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th.
All the classes are small group sessions and places will be strictly limited.
The classes are interchangeable (that also includes Pilates and Yoga classes). You can jump from one class to another or do a couple of sessions a week if you would like to. If you miss a class you can always turn up to any of my other classes during the week instead.
