The session will focus on backbends, chest opening poses and breathing.
Our everyday life sitting at desks, using electronic devices, driving cars, watching movies from the comfort of soft cozy sofas and beds, etc. does not do much good to the health of our spine.
Rounded spine and collapsed chest are the most common problems nowadays. People are slouchy and breathing is affected majorly by the wrong posture. Bad posture is also an indication of suppressed emotions.
By incorporating chest opening postures and backbends you create more breathing space as well as unloading your emotional baggage.
The session will conclude with 15-20 mins of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a yogic sleep. It is a form of guided meditation – a state between being asleep and awake. Yoga Nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation. It helps to distress and cultivates peacefulness and release of long held emotions.
