Our first trial Session went really well and the feedback was amazing! Thank you so much for sharing the practice with us and we are pleased to let you know that we have decided on running more Yin Yoga & Sound Bath Workshops in the same and various other areas very soon.

A morning of restorative yoga, pranayama and deep relaxation surrounded by aromas of essential oils and concluded by an hour of singing bowls.
We will start with pranayama (breathing exercises) and will continue with 1 1/2 hours of deep restorative Yoga postures to distress, release, restore, improve circulation and target deep muscles and tissues during this wonderful gentle but effective Yoga Practice. The session will conclude with an hour of Sound Bath – an immersion in sounds and vibrations that are healing for your body, mind and soul.
A Sound Bath is a relaxing meditative experience. Everything in the Universe, including our body, is composed of vibrations. Every organ and every cell in our body vibrates at a particular frequency. Sound and vibration travels through water and as our human body is made up of over 70% water then sound and vibration can affect us at a cellular level. The healing frequencies and vibrations of the singing bowls will wash away all your stress and tension. Some benefits of a sound bath include:

I first tried Sound Bath with Jillian in February and loved it. It is a wonderful experience and the hour of the practice feels like 10 minutes. I slept like a baby at night and felt so much more calm and peaceful after the session. I loved it so much that decided to join forces with Jillian and trial run a session combining both Yoga and Singing Bowls.

I have been teaching since 2006 with 12 years Pilates and 9 years of Yoga experience (practicing for 9 and teaching for the last 4).
A few words about Jillian: Jill loves walking and connecting with the outdoors. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist Assistance Practitioner in Mental Health for 19 years. During her role she trained as a QiGong Practitioner. This awakened her interest in Energy work and it’s benefits for self healing. Last year Jillian had the opportunity to train as a Sound Therapist and work for Sound As A Bell offering Sound Baths.
Handmade bespoke Eye Pillows will be available to purchase on the day for £10 and are also available to purchase from my website. These will be available in various colours. Eye pillows are filled with lavender from my mum’s garden to aid relaxation, and a mix of flaxseed and rice. I will update the website with the pictures of actual eye pillows once all of them are made.
The lavender smell is amazing! I brought the dried lavender flowers all the way from Belarus together with flaxseed (not milled) and added rice for a bit more weight.
If you would like it to be made with no lavender, please let me know and I will do that for you.

10am – 11:45am – Pranayama & Restorative Yoga Practice
12-1pm – Sound Bath
The session is suitable for all levels and abilities.
Please bring blankets and cushions for Sound Bath and to use during the Yoga Practice. I usually take 2 blankets for those sessions: one for covering the mat and one for covering myself. Cushions or rolled up blankets are also a must to make your experience more pleasant and to support your head and maybe knees.
