This is the 4th Beginners Yoga Course we are running. This one will run in a slightly different format: 3 x 3 hour Intensives (January, February, March)
What is included into the course?
– Would you like to learn more about breathing and its benefits and how to coordinate breath with a movement?

– Would you like to know the right alignment for the most common yoga poses and to find out what mussels your are engaging and stretching?
✨Modifications, Variations & Contradictions
– Would you like to know the modifications and variations of the most common yoga postures?
Very often in a group yoga class, especially a busy one, it is quite challenging for an instructor to physically correct all the students. Although they will most likely talk you through the possible options and variations, sometimes it takes time to figure out what option you need to take.
Also, all the postures have contraindications and advisories, and depending on your medical history it is good to know what you need to avoid or modify.

The aim of this course is to give you the basic knowledge of the 16 main Yoga postures for you to be able to practice yoga in a safe way and to be aware of how to get into the position, know what you are stretching, the correct alignment, what variations of the posture you can opt for, how to breathe in a pose and what benefits you gain from being in a posture.
Every session consists of 3 parts:
1. Breathing pattern
2. Deconstructing the Asanas (16 Postures)
3. Yoga Practice
Each session will see a break down of a few yoga postures, breath work and a 45 minute Yoga practice.
11am – 2pm
